The area's businesses serve a wide area, encompassing much of Northwest Madison County and Northeast Limestone County.

Monrovia, also known as Vaughn Corners or Thompson Mill, is an unincorporated community in Madison County, Alabama, United States. It is bordered on the south by the city of Madison, on the southeast by the city of Huntsville, on the west by Limestone County and on the north by the community of Harvest. The Monrovia Parks and Recreation Association is the owner and operator of Phillips Park and operates youth sports leagues, primarily Babe Ruth baseball and softball. MPRA is a private, non-profit organization run by a board of directors.
