After reading many of my local blog posts you know I tend to write a lot about the Village of Providence. The reason is simple; I want to keep you informed, but more to the point, I work in Providence and know it well. More importantly, the Village of Providence is a great place to live, very walkable with a community pool, clubhouse, fitness center and very central in Huntsville Alabama offering easy commuting to where ever you need to go.
When you mention the Village of Providence everyone knows where it is and what you are talking about. Many area parents bring their children to the Little Gym offering programs for youngsters in gymnastics, sports skills, dance and karate from ages 4 months to 12 years to many fine restaurants such as Tony's Little Italy & Grille 29. Several businesses call Providence home, Doctors & Dentists, Dry Cleaners, Beauty Salons and even a Real Estate office or two have found the Village of Providence a great place to work and play, in some part because of its great location and ease of commuting to all things Huntsville and Madison Alabama. One of the Closing Attorneys that I like to work with just opened a satellite office here in the Village of Providence. Craig Paulus Attorneys at Law, moved into our old office when we relocated a block away. As I do a lot of business in Providence it's great having them so close by.
The Village of Providence may be best known for the variety of architecture; bungalows, ranch style homes, mini-mansions and southern traditional style architecture as well as loft condominiums giving this newer neighborhood of the Village of Providence character seldom seen in other communities. Homes are were all built and within the last 10 years and are predominently full brick or Hardi board use by most higher end builders. The Village of Providence is the perfect location for convenience to University Drive shopping and the Bridge Street Town Centre. Cummings Research Park and the Redstone Arsenal are only minutes away.
